FULL-TIME BENEFITS (over 32 hours weekly)
(Part-time employees averaging between 24 to 32 hours receive prorated benefits based on hours)

  • Wellmark medical Insurance (single coverage is fully paid, family coverage will cost between $5-150/month, dependent upon plan selection)

  • IPERS retirement (You contribute 3.7% of your gross income AND the county invests 5.75% for an amount equivalent to 9.45% of your annual salary as long as you are employed. Cerro Gordo County, located in North Central Iowa, includes the communities of
Mason City and Clear Lake . We are located halfway between Minneapolis, Minnesota
and Des Moines, Iowa. We are located two hours from each of those metropolitan areas. Visitors may reach our county by Interstate 35, Highway 122 or air travel directly to the Mason City Regional Airport.
