MMR - Measles, Mumps, and Rubella
Vaccines
Measles
Measles is a highly contagious disease caused by a virus. Symptoms
may include a rash, high fever, cough, runny nose, and red, watery
eyes.
Mumps
Mumps is a disease of the lymph nodes caused by a virus. Symptoms
may include fever, headache, muscle aches, and swelling of the
lymph nodes close to the jaw.
Rubella
Rubella is a respiratory disease caused by a virus. Symptoms may
include rash and a fever for two to three days. If a woman gets
rubella while she's pregnant, she could have a miscarriage or
her baby may be born with serious birth defects.
