Pneumonia
The
Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health encourages anyone
age 65 and older to consider receiving a pneumonia shot. This
provides protection from pneumococcal pneumonia. The vaccine is
available at Public Health throughout the year. Walk-ins are welcome.
The clinic provides billing to Medicare for people receiving the
pneumonia vaccination who have the Part B benefit. Typically,
pneumonia vaccinations are only needed one-time. Please contact
us to check if your name is registered as already receiving
your pneumonia vaccination.
