Are you buying or selling a home in Cerro Gordo County?

If so, you need to know about "Time of Sale" requirements

Cerro Gordo County adopted an on-site wastewater treatment and disposal ordinance that became effective April 1, 1989. It was revised July 1, 2005, to include "Time of Sale" requirements. Please review the revised ordinance below:

All homes sold within Cerro Gordo County - not connected to a public sewer system - must have their septic system inspected by the Cerro Gordo County Department of Health prior to sale.
