Nonpublic Water Well Construction

Environmental Health inspectors evaluate and inspect the construction and alterations of any non-public water supplies within Cerro Gordo County. This serves to protect your drinking water with appropriate construction and location of water wells. A permit is required for all well work performed within county limits.

The permit fee for a new well is $200 and for a reconstructed well, $100.
